Light again.
Life again.
After a long and cold night
in the tomb of winter
nature is wakening to life.
The heavy blanket of snow and ice
is lifted
for earth to start breathing once more.
Flowers are breaking through the soil,
leaving the darkness of the earth
and growing into the light of spring.
Wounds inflicted by frost's harshness
are finally healing.
Light again.
Life again.
New life is rising like the sun,
victorious over winter's deathly forces.
The promise of abundance
outshines the fear of scarcity.
The promise of redemption
outshines the fear of captivity.
The promise of salvation
outshines the fear of downfall.
The promise of prosperity
outshines the fear of failure.
The promise of life
outshines the fear of death.
Light again.
Life again.
New life is rising
like the Son,
the Son of Man,
the Son of God,
the Son who rose from the grave,
the Son who ascended into heaven,
the son who rose from darkness into light,
the Son who rose from death into life,
the Son who is the light of the world,
the Son who is the Savior of us all.
New life is rising
for us
and in us,
lifting the world into goodness.
Devotion is appearing
for us
and in us,
touching the world with love.
Mercy is growing
for us
and in us,
covering the world with hope.
Peace is spreading
for us
and in us,
bathing the world in reconciliation.
Wholeness is pouring
for us
and in us,
mending the world with the power of God.
Joy is shining
for us
and in us,
enlightening the world with the glory of God.
Grace is overflowing,
for us
and in us,
flooding the world with God's promise of eternal life.
Light again.
Life again.
After a long and cold night
in the tomb of failure
we will waken to life.
The heavy blanket of brokenness
will be lifted
for us to start breathing once more.
We will break through the soil of worldly bonds
leaving the darkness of our sins
and growing into the light of God's kingdom.
Wounds inflicted by human harshness
are finally healing.
Light again.
Life again.
New life is rising through the Son,
victorious over Stan's deathly forces.
New life,
eternal life,
through Christ
the risen Lord.
How beautiful!
